Really looks overmatched. I don't want to hear about the wrist injury because I'm not talking about his shooting. Just not ready for meaningful minutes

Remember when there were rumors he would start over Desi?

I think Veer will be good. Just down the road. Very few are ready immediately as Frosh.

He was overhyped. People were saying he was going to be our X factor.

Unless I'm mistaken, he absolutely DID start over Desi today. He can clearly shoot, but from what I've seen he's not the same level with his teammates in terms of quickness and athleticism.

He started because Carrington and Desi had "timing issues," according to Willard. Lateness.

If one could buy shares in one SHU player having a 10-year NBA career, I would buy all
of the Singh shares allowed. Remember he has not played competitively since spring of
2013. Singh will be critical for SHU to make the sweet 16. He'll blossom THIS year.

Before he had to sit out his senior year of HS for family reasons, he was being recruited by UNC, SMU, Arizona, Villanova, etc. He has a very high ceiling, and chose the perfect school and program for him. Check back in 60 days, February 5th, and he'll be averaging three 3's, 2 dunks, and 2 blocked shots in conference play.

I agree. He needs time. Some freshman grow faster than others. And he is being very cautious...which is good.
