Just spoke with a source connected in New Jersey. Here is some bullet points of what he said

- On Nazeron Reid - St. Johns, Seton Hall and Rutgers are all heavily involved, but he believes Reid ends up at Kentucky or Duke

- On Louis King - Seton Hall and St. Johns heavily involved. Rutgers starting to try and push as well. If he stays local, source believes Seton Hall is the choice. Maryland, Arizona, Kentucky, Kansas, and Louisville are also in the picture right now.

- On Jahvon Quinerly - If he stays local, Seton Hall is the choice. Other major option right now are Villanova and Virginia. Recent Arizona offer could play a role. Right now, he believes Villanova has the edge over Seton Hall. However, Quinerly wants to start at PG from Day One and with SHU not taking a pure PG in 2017 and Villanova always loaded at the position, he thinks that could play a major role.

- On Luther Muhammad - St. Johns, Seton Hall and UConn all heavily involved. Tremendous relationship between Coach Holloway and Muhammad. Believes Seton Hall has the slightest of leads over St. John's right now. Source was surprised more big names haven't gotten involved here yet as he believes Muhammad is the most ready to make a big impact from day one

- On Jalen Carey - Rutgers, Penn State, and Seton Hall showing the most interest. Source is baffled at the lack of interest as Carey had a huge summer. Virginia and Notre Dame starting to snoop around. Seton Hall could probably close Carey quickly if they pushed, but they believe Muhammad and Quinerly are better and they like their chances with them.

- On Justice Winston - Seton Hall definitely needs at least one SF type player in 2018 and Winston could be that guy if they miss on Louis King and Noejl Eastern in 2017. Also hearing from Pitt, Rutgers, and UConn. Slow recruitment right now but should pick up

- On Markquis Nowell (from Bishop Loughlin) - Size is limiting his recruitment. Unbelievable basketball IQ and quickness. Would likely be pursued heavily by SHU if Quinerly commits elsewhere

On Sidney Wilson (now at Brewster, formerly at St. Raymonds) - SHU a major player. Minnesota likely lands him IF Isaiah Washington ends up there. Source doesn't think Isaiah Washington will qualify. Thinks Wilson could blow up.

Overall, he felt strongly about SHUs chances to land a very impressive 2018 class, saying it could be as good or better than the 2014 class, but that Seton Hall needs to have a strong season this year to continue the momentum. Nothing really groundbreaking here or shocking but figured it would be good to put all this information in one spot.
