Just got finished reading a steady stream of posts regarding Willard's future at Seton, I can't take one more second of it. As for his contract, shame on us! What did this guy do to earn that type of exit deal? But, you know what, what's the use, why fight it? I have no answer for that whole travesty-but I will say this; going forward, here's what I would like to see: if a new coach is the answer, I have a candidate-Bruiser Flint, Drexel U HC. Oh, I know, some geniuses on this board are going to chide this choice, but, be real: are you doing any better? Flint is tough, he recruits, he coaches, [and he won't tolerate the nonsense that our current coach allowed to fester on this team]. So this is what I envision-a new coach, Sterling staying, A new PG recruit[HS or JC or transfer with immediate eligibility], Quaddri Moore transfer, and an imm ediate big guy recruit[probably the Chigo C Carter everybody hates on this site]. If Flint were to be the next Coach, we would imm ediately be a factor in Philly, recruiting wise[of course, we'll never get a Hurley player, remembering the Ajmal Basit incident]. But, you know what, screw that. Bruiser would recruit Philly relentlessly, and probably get better players than what we might get from Hurley. The alternative is to hire from within: Shaheen or Hill: I'm not against Shaheen, I'm not against Freddie either, but will things improve under their watch? This whole mess that we are currently em broiled in happened on their watch, didn't it? Oh, and my opinion on the Kevin Willard initial hiring-why did we go forwards and press the button on a guy we were touted by by a rival[RickieP]; since when does a major league operation buy into the BS of a direct competitor?
