Rough game for the (9) Wildcats, just looked overmatched tonight against the (7) Sooners. 'Nova went 4-32 (12.5%) from the distance tonight.

Villanova's Phil Booth shot 56% from the floor last year & 48.5% from 3. This year: 34.5% from field 28% from 3. Needs to be more efficient.

Nova is integrating a few young pieces, and some other players are adjusting to larger roles. That Oklahoma team has been playing together for several years (and is really good). Tough matchup early in the season. From what I've seen, Nova should be legit FF contenders by the end of the year.

I agree with Gottlieb..that is a great idea. What is to me a stupid idea is putting "integrity" , "courage" etc. on the backs of players' jerseys. It trivializes those words and makes it hard to figure out who s who.

Agreed. Putting "integrity" on the back of any college basketball team's uniform is an oxymoron, right?

I am sure Jay Wright wanted the match up with OU but trip to Hawaii I am sure he could have done without. All four teams covered their own transportation costs including hotels and meals.

Villanova continues to not do well when facing top 10 OOC opponents. They may win the Big East and be a top 10 team for most of the season, but for whatever the reason, they just don't get it done come NCAA time. At the same time, there's no way they can ever not want to have Wright. You just wonder how much longer Wright is going to hang in there.
