Went to the UCT final last night. St. Pat's won, they had a huge size advantage, tallest player for Linden is guard Tavon Jones.
Jordan Walker is really good, has all the tools of a true PG. Very fast with a good looking 3-point shot. Missed some free throws late after knocking them down earlier. He's small. not 5-10 IMHO, but fun to watch, I think I'd follow any team he ends up on, hopefully Seton Hall.
Manuel didn't start, didn't play that much in the first half, looked lost out there. Had a nice slam on a putback but those kinds of things don't impress me. Didn't play at all in the 2nd half. Color me confused.
Tavon Jones for Linden is a lanky, slim 6-3 guard. He's a slasher and a scorer with a great basketball IQ but no outside shot. As a Linden player, he'll end up being a pretty decent player for some team but not quite sure that will be in the Big East.
