Gibbs that is. I know many posters will say "who cares", but I am curious if The grass is greener for Gibbs at UConn. They're looking like A bubble team so far.

Will be interesting if by some point in February that we look back at Gibbs being an addition by subtraction situation.

uconn has one ooc game left against georgetown at home in late jan, the aac will be them houston temple, cincy, tulsa, remember smu is not eligible for anything but have been good thus far

uconn will be a 20 win team and in

I don't think he was on the radar for any NBA teams. It's a shame because he could've stayed & been our best player

Addition by subtraction. The sophs are our future.

I like Sterling but we are better without him. Team defense and chemistry are much better this year. I wish him well.

I really wish we could've found a way to blend him in for this year. I think we are going to miss his 3 point shot stretching the defense.

Right now Desi is shooting over 40% and KC os shooting at 36%... If IW can get up around 35-36% and Desi and KC can stay consistent throughout the rest of the year, we should be fine from 3.

Don't forget Singh. He will probably have some ups and downs in general, but starting to seem some glimpses of the 3-point threat he was advertised as.

I've seen UConn a few times this year, and Gibbs seems to be somewhat of an afterthought offensively. Completely different look to his game than when he was here and option #1 on offense. His #s aren't great either.

I completely understand the reasons he left, just not sure why he chose UConn, unless it was to have a good chance to make the tourney and the Ollie factor. He's got no shot at the NBA but I think he'll make some decent $ playing overseas after college when it's all said and done.

i turned it on towards the end. i saw him dribble the air out of the ball for two straight possessions without passing once. one time was an airball, the other was a layup over two guys. not sure what to make of him yet.

And here I thought it was a thread about Donald Sterling not what's his name. Sterling + Pukon don't deserve a thread here IMHO.

Did anyone else see the irony of us Seton Hall fans tuning into see our former player now at UCONN playing against yet another team he played for. If he gets injured in practice tomorrow ( hope he does not... ), could he red shirt and okay next year at GW or W. Ky? Speaking of ironies.

I tell my UCONN friends who ask about Gibbs that he can play two good games, then disappear in a third, esp. At crunch time. He does seem to be a good influence on young UCONN guards.
