According to the CDC in 2018-2019 roughly 35 million Americans had symptomatic flu illnesses and roughly 35,000 died (.1%).

We currently have 94,238 cases of CV19 with 1,438 deaths (1.5%). According to Johns Hopkins CV19 map.

Just putting those numbers here.
