Please don't respond until you read both of my posts on this thread.
If you had the opportunity to see but not hear last nights media Q&A's with the two coaches you would have been hard pressed to know which team won and which team lost.
First I'll start with Jay Wright as he came in ahead of Willard.
Sweaty, a little upset and highly emotional. Clearly he looked agitated although he did his charming best to hide it complimenting SHU often.
As I noted on the free board he defected every question about the refs but just the fact he did so showed how upset he was with their efforts.
Finally his real emotions, pent-up at first came flowing out when he described his astonishment regarding Ochefu's 4th foul. He kept repeating, sometimes loudly, 6-11 with his hands straight up against 6-1. He said this over and over before just finishing with "best to let it go."
When he walked out I was impressed. His team won but he wasn't satisfied. With their effort or that of the zebra's. He didn't accept just getting the W. He wanted and expected more.
That's having an experienced team. But it's also pushing his players to maximize their potential.
