The Lineup

As I and a few others said, The lineup has to change. We can not under any circumstances have Dual, Wusu and Aligbe on the floor together. It’s coaching malpractice.

I’ll concede that Wusu has a pretty nice catch and shoot 3 point stroke. But he’s horrendous at everything else.

With that said and the above with not combining those players it leaves no choice but to start Felton. Who should be starting regardless. Anybody who still has Aligbe starting is also clueless.

Therefore my lineup now is:

Felton
Wusu
Coleman
Middleton
Okorafor

Does it get to a point where it is worth it to try simply playing "small" (with Coleman and Middleton as forwards) and jack up 30+ 3s a game? When they aren't falling it will be ugly, but there probably will be some situations in which enough go down.

Yes. The defense is overrated anyway. I said that over a week ago. Maybe we win today if Sha tried it….

Sha should've made these changes a couple games ago. It's clearly obvious who the most talented players are, take your lumps with them, let them get better, gel.

I agreed. I would give Dual the run as PG. rotate the other 4 in the 2-4 spots (Jenkins/Wusu plus Middleton and Coleman), and rotate like 3-4 kids in the C spot. Try to push and score in transition as much as you can and shoot a ton of 3s

Finally ran a zone defense and it helped us get back in the game. Need to see more of that, as our man will get shredded with good PG play.

Give OSU credit. Really moved the ball well, set lots of screens and zipped passes to the open man. Big East season will be brutal if Sha can't figure this out. How many times does he need to go back to the lab?
