Change of pace.
I wasn't going to post this but SHUMatt added some detail on the free board that included info on Gonzo that I thought best kept quiet. But understandable given the allegations now re the baseball team.
Matt, if any of this info conflicts with your account please correct me as this was quite some time ago and I got it second hand when I worked the Rivals board.
The baseball team was working out indoors in Walsh. They had Walsh reserved. Gonzo walked in the gym and saw that it was being used and went crazy. Screaming at whomever was in charge. Not sure it was Shep Sr at the time as he retired 3 years before Gonzo was hired. Rob Shepard heard what happened and went to Walsh and saw Gonzo, I was told he got him by the throat and slammed him against the wall telling him to never do what he just did.
