what is going on here is a microcosm of life and I’m praying that all of this crap will in the end unite not only our little seton hall world but our country too!

You simply cannot do this if you want to continue to draw support for your argument. They are sabotaging their own cause.
Someone influential in the Black community (LeBron you listening?) needs to stand up and say, “We absolutely do not support this and it has to stop “.

i actually support their cause...I don’t support lunacy, violence, and their wishing death on two human beings who were doing their job... to protect you by the way... as a course to undertake.

Sad how polarizing our country is... get the different patties together (police, Black members of the community, etc) together and have an open discussion with no ramifications to come from it... and no publicity... to hash out some rational steps and actions to take.

Don’t try to deny that virtually every tweet and story you ever post that is critical of a politician is that of a Republican. If you’re going to criticize someone for being hyper partisan then own it yourself.

There won’t be any bipartisan legislation on gun control. Never going to happen. 42% of US households have a gun. Not politically expedient to touch that one especially in this environment. Most effective law I’ve seen is in Grand Cayman. Automatic 10 years in prison if you are caught with an illegal gun or have a gun in your possession without having a license. That’ll never fly here.

This is all hurting BLM in a huge way. If they think this is helping or they are now empowered to do this they are all wrong. Where is BLM the organization? I don't blame them. Ridiculous for minor offenses especially but this is just more of NJ politicians cowtowing to the progressives. Why would anyone want to be a police officer?

If you are a police officer identified you would not have protestors going to your homes, bothering your families etc. You should face justice and even expulsion if you do something wrong and also not be allowed to get a reference for future policing jobs. But the protests have gone crazy. As an example, as much as I cannot stand Pelosi, protestors should not have gone to her house to protest her hair appt. It's gone crazy and is literally putting people and police in danger now. No matter what someone does, people should not go to folks homes and harrass them. I'm glad the unions are trying to protect their police officers because the world has gone mad and their families are in danger and that has always been the truth about being a police officer but now it is way worse because it is so easy to get someone's name and address and find out where they and their families live. And society today has zero scruples or class. This is an example where the union is doing the right thing 100%.

LeBron James insisted this week he has never called for revenge attacks against cops, despite repeated rants some critics claim inflame “hatred” against police.

“I’ve never in my 35 years ever condoned violence. Never have,” the hoops legend said Tuesday night when asked about his tirades being tied to the anger that led to two California deputies being shot in an ambush.

“I do not condone violence towards anyone,” James insisted, according to the Los Angeles Times. “Police, black people, white people, anyone of color, anyone not of color because that’s not gonna ever make this world or America what we want it to be.”

The Lakers legend has been the most vocal professional athlete on police brutality, calling it ” “f—ed up” that black Americans are living in fear of getting shot by cops who maybe “just left the house saying that today is going to be the end for one of these black people.”

Conservative pundit Candace Owens accused him of inflaming hatred against the police as she tagged a video of the deputies being shot, while Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva challenged him to match and double the reward money being offered for info on the gunman.

James on Tuesday said he had “zero comment on the sheriff,” but distanced himself from the attack, the L.A. Times said.

“Not one time have I ever said, ‘Let’s act violent towards cops,’” he insisted. “I just said that what’s going on in our community is not OK and we fear for that and we fear for our lives.”

The hoops star said that cops are “not all bad,” but he would continue to speak out against those that are.

“When you see the videos that’s going on and you can see all over the — not only my hometown, but all over America, you continue to see the acts of violence towards my kind, I can’t do nothing but to speak about it and see the common denominator,” he said, according to the paper.
