Let’s not overreact, I don’t think anyone really expected much tonight…
1. They were a preseason top 10 team for a reason and we were picked 7th in the conference for a reason. Just two programs at two different stages right now.
2. This is a really strange team to watch. There is wildly sloppy play. Then someone hits a 3 you didn’t expect. Then there are moments of great energy and fight. Then another horrible turnover. It’s like every possession is drawn out of a hat at random.
3. Hopefully Tray uses his COVID year elsewhere. He doesn’t look like he even wants to be playing this year at SHU.
4. In an attempt to be positive, at least this roster is going to look a lot different next year. Build up what NIL we can and try to make targeted improvements.
5. Creighton’s home court seems like a great college basketball environment. I could see why you’d want to play there, NIL aside.
