South Orange, N.J. -- After a week where the Seton Hall women's soccer team picked up a road win in league play and tied with a nationally ranked foe for the second time this season, the Pirates had three players earn BIG EAST weekly honors; junior Natalie Tavana (Middletown, Conn.) is BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, and juniors Rachel Gerrie (Littleton, Colo.) and Anna Prawer (London, England) have tabbed to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Tavana, the reigning BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week now earns her third selection of the season following another impactful week for Seton Hall. The junior continued her scorching season with three points over two games, adding an assist on the Pirates' lone goal in a 1-0 win over Marquette on Thursday, followed by a goal of her own in a 1-1 draw against No. 12 Georgetown on Sunday. Her performances kept her atop the BIG EAST in total points with 24, as well as goals with 11. No other player in the conference has scored more than seven times on the year. On a national scale, she is tied for 11th in goals scored and tied for ninth in goals per game with 0.85. Tavana has proven to be one of the most impactful players in the conference this season, as she has led the Pirates to eight points in the BIG EAST standings, already exceeding their point total from last season, while being the most points in a season for Seton Hall since 2013.

Gerrie fortified a Pirates defense that allowed just one goal on the week with seven total shots on goal allowed; held No. 12 Georgetown to four shots on goal in a 1-1 draw on Sunday, marking the first time since becoming a varsity program in 1994 that the Pirates have taken a point against multiple ranked opponents in the same season.

Prawer shined in net, allowing just one goal over two games for Seton Hall in 1-0-1 week; totaled six saves on the week, with a three-save shutout in a 1-0 win against Marquette on Thursday and three saves in a 1-1 draw against No. 12 Georgetown on Sunday.
