I was very anxious yesterday so I spent the evening watching Pirates 2000 (DVD that someone on this board made) and Band Of Pirates.
Brought back great memories from 1999-2000 and made me long for the days of the late 80s.
Let's hope this band of pirates stays together for another year and KW continues to grow. We could do special things (relative to SHU, lol) over the next 3 years.

Band of Pirates was sold by SHU... Pirates 2000? Idk. I don't have the technological where-with-all to rip and burn a DVD. Sorry.
All I know is, someone from this board made it.
Yup, except for Packer.
I think people just associate his voice with important games and recall him more fondly than he deserves, even though he was terrible. I call it Musberger Syndrome.

Nice to see Ty Shine run over Doug Gottlieb in that game. Did not like the guy as a player either.

That's for sure. He went nuts, and we still just barely won. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wonders how that run would've been different if Shaheen had not been hurt and Ty Shine never became a figure of our mythology. I kind of feel like we might not have beaten Temple, but that we would've beaten Oklahoma State (if we had, in theory, played them). Impossible to say, of course.
