Halldan, there seem to be technical issues with the PSN as far as covering baseball this Spring. It's a falloff
from the last season or two. There have been games that were scheduled to be broadcast and then weren't
at the last minute. There are constant problems with the feed stalling. It looks like the battery on the camera
lost power in yesterday's game against Rutgers and that was the end of the video stream. I thought it could
be my PC or IPhone but I don't think so.
In addition it looks like they only have one camera this season. Is it possible that they have only 2 cameras and they are using the other one for softball? The broadcasts of both are very hard on the eyes. There is a considerable difference from the coverage of Women's basketball and Volleyball. It would be understandable that weather and the lengths of the games would be factors. On the other hand it's not free and it certainly not
in tune with all the improvements with Athletics at SHU. I guess my question would be to see if anyone is in charge or is this just a student project? Also, are they aware of it problems and can they be fixed moving forward, I'd say the streams of both baseball and softball are brutal at this point without any broadcast creativity or standards.
