WSOU Sports ‏@WSOUSports 14h14 hours ago

@TonyBozzella "Do I blame DePaul [for hosting Big East Tournament]? Absolutely not. If I was them I would want to host it every year, too."

@TonyBozzella "@_taylorbyrne has been outstanding. She's been one of our better players...we have a lot more depth [this year]."

Tony always keeps his fan base engaged and interested and being proactive with providing updates with his tweets etc. What a stark contrast between the basketball programs at SH about being open and communicating with its fan base.

Tony has been great to this site. He is always available to talk about women's BB.

The guy doesn't know how to say no. Anything for his program and anything for Seton Hall.

Same goes for his staff, most notably Lauren DeFalco.

I personally have an open invitation to see him and his team anytime I want.

Why don't they post the program on SoundCloud or via a Podcast? They have done it before, but it's infrequent.

I'd love to listen to the Bozzella and Grant interviews. Tuning in at 6 PM on a Sunday is tough. That's not a good time.

On-demand is the modern way.

The starters appear to be TRS, Gordon, Jones, Powell and Richardson.

Smith, the freshman star from Cali, may be first off the bench at guard. The coach made it sound as if she is good enough to start, which is no surprise. He emphasized what a good ball handler Smith is.

Several other players will get significant minutes. Bozzella pointed out that with the new four quarters system and less timeouts more players will rotate in and out. I like that because in college I believe that too many good players sit on the bench and don't get minutes.

Interesting that 4 of your 5 projected starters are transfers and as in men's BB , transfers are becoming a growing pool of talent to actively recruit.

Good point, 80.

Coach B said that he believes Richardson is a good fit for his system, which may not have been so with her former teams.

So many recruits choose a school for the wrong reasons. That leads to unhappiness and then many transfers. As with any company, the right fit is a big deal on a roster.

That's why I feel that Jayla Jones-Pack from Long Island and Blessing Ejiofor from Paterson are great fits at the Hall. They should just call each other and announce their commitment to SHU together.

There. It's settled... LOL

We have seen that every player improve under Bozzella. As the coach says, "Why not Seton Hall?"
