I posted this on here, because I want a more civil and less accusatory discussion.
So we started the week at 12-2 (2-0) with wins over a #6 Nova and #15 StJ.
We lost to Xavier (#24 KenPom) on the road and stole a win at Creighton (#119 KenPom).
Bluntly, we looked very unimpressive and executed poorly more often than not. We fought though and had heart.
Now we sit 13-3 (3-1) with 2 Top 15 wins and a road win.
#20 VCU... won both games last week (Davidson & St Joe's)
#21 Baylor... split game this week (L to Kansas and W over TCU)
#22 Ohio St... Split this week (W over Minni and L in OT to Indiana)
#23 Arkansas... Won both games this week (Vanderbilt and Georgia)
#24 StJ... Lost their only game this week. (Nova)
#25 ODU... Split this week (W over Marshall and L to WKU)
Today, there are no Top 25 games in our ranking range... Witchita at #15 is playing Illinois St... All the other teams are Top 10 teams.
So where does everyone think we end up after today?
I say we'll be ranked #22 or #23 with VCU, Arkansas and one of Baylor/Ohio State pulling ahead of us. But I feel that we are definitely dropping in the rankings on Monday.
I also expect ODU and StJ to drop out and 2 new teams to jump in...
