Toumi

Appears as if he got kicked off the team or quit. All social media highlights have been scrubbed and no mention of him anywhere

What happens to nil money paid if players leave or get kicked off team mid season. School/team can get it back? Or are they payed throughout season. Must have a contract? Just curious how this works. This entire thing is really a mess. Realize some didn’t get much as others but this would be two players gone I believe if he leaves.

But does he have to scream at everyone constantly?
So does Sean Miller. I mean idk is this is a thing or not. I think he simply chose to spend a small budget on too many weak players and now can’t get their buy-in either for some reason. Maybe it’s that idk, I’d assume it’s the lack of success and constant lineup changes though and he’s got guys who don’t care.

Definitely coming. Lol
Haven’t seen trades but I believe an in season transfer has already taken place.

I remember a college bball podcast mentioning a player has already played for two separate div 1 teams this season. I’ll try to find out what player they were referring to.

even if they play we shouldn't pay them. let the judge watch the footage, he'll rule in our favor.

yea the "screaming" at players is BS. every coach worth a damn is doing this if their team is playing like ours.

some of these players can't dribble. some are worse shooters than anyone off the street. i mean dual put up the worst statline i've seen i. ages and one of the most embarassing, pathetic plays ive seen in my life. they flat out are horrendous players and yea it's shas fault for getting them. collectively they are worse than their parts.

It’s not the screaming necessarily, I’ve said this a lot for the whole tenure, he is seen as RELENTLESS on them at all times, like zero breaks ever, turns most kids off, I said from the beginning he needs “his guys” and “buy in” and he’s great but idk if that will consistent happen

You can do it and win but if you do this and they don’t think you know what you’re doing or they don’t buy-in it’s disaster

Ive heard (admittedly small sample) weird stories that he just does not connect with kids like you would think

But don’t listen to me I’m a KW fanboy and a troll so I’m probably way off

He seemed like a nut job anyway. Constantly jawing at the opponents, fouling for no reason. Just a terrible team player.

It’s a bad year. Cooley had one at Georgetown last year. It happens…it just can’t keep happening. Sha’s not going anywhere, and neither is Felt and Lyons. Play out the year and evaluate who is worth keeping and reload.

I guess we now know why Sha limited any access to see the team in October. But let’s also be realistic…SHU’s issues now start at the BOR.

He is like this when the team is not playing to his expectation. He did it at beginning of last year and then about a month or two in, he was satisfied with the play and chilled a bit with the needless theatrics. It is all about his frustration level and his approach to improving.

Have you seen him in a practice?

And it’s not screaming..it’s hard to explain but hopefully it works out

Yes, you can have one. But you can’t have two…certainly not this (likely) historically bad, even within the next 2. -3 years.

That’s DePaul territory, and that means a change is needed.

I hope not…but I fear our coach has some learning to do…and if he’s too stubborn to do that…then I think we’re headed in that direction.

Time will tell

Hes not going anywhere especially in 3 years

Not what I said at all

Been saying it for three years Sha needs a VERY particular kid who will buy in and he needs a team of them

I don’t know if it’s sustainable

But hey he’ll be at Iowa soon anyway and back to the drawing board!

The issue is that it’s going to be very difficult to raise NIL funds on the back of this season. Georgetown has money, SHU doesn’t and SHU will have even less coming off 2-3 BE wins than they did for this year’s roster.

This season may set the program back half a decade. And that might be generous and feels terrible typing it out.

That’s a different story though. If we don’t have money, than what coach will have any success here?

In this day and age you have to have both…money and a coach. We obviously don’t have the first despite what McBride and others stated. We don’t know yet if we have the second.

In all honesty, what quality coach is going to come here with the current shitshow we have at the BOR level?

Dude doesnt even have or play a pg who cant bring some stability. Dual sucks period. Its on shaheen to play jahseem
I'd like to see more of Felton. I think he has real potential.

Based on what I've seen he is not a point guard. He doesn't look to facilitate offense at all. If he does, it's his own. That's fine but he doesn't look to be a good enough scorer to do that. If you watched closely today, he brought the ball up, gave it up and then largely disappeared. If he got the ball back, he looked to shoot.

It's a small sample to be sure but he's averaging about one assist per 40 minutes. The two guys who aren't competent enough to run our offense average approximately four and five assists per 40.
