Trump blames Zelensky Again

Trump continues to blame Zelensky for failure of peace although Putin would not agree to the cease fire deal. Yet no consequences for Putin. I guess Trump solving this war in 24 hours was complete rubbish surprise surprise. Trump wants to give Crimea to Russia and Zelensky pointed out Trump’s hypocrisy. Trump said on Wednesday that Crimea "was lost years ago", but Zelensky pointed to a 2018 "Crimea declaration" by Trump's then secretary of state Mike Pompeo that said the US "rejects Russia's attempted annexation".

Trump’s only way to end the war is to sell Ukraine up the river to Russia. He has no real solutions but to capitulate to the aggression of Russia. Pretty pathetic.

Meanwhile, Russia bombs Kiev.

Yet Biden did absolutely nothing to help end the war. Just keep sending US weapons and money to the comedian. Trump at least trying to secure precious metal rights and a long term plan to ensure security in the region. Will he succeed? Who knows, but all you have is his “24 hour” promise which everyone but you knows is his schtick.

Russia took Crimea in 2014. It's now theirs, whether we agree with it or not. Zelenskyy isn't exactly helping matters. He should be the first one to the table for a deal.

You are pathetic in ignoring Trump is being played by Putin or is an actual asset of Putin. Your bias shows by calling Zelensky a comedian. Biden sent weapons to Ukraine so that the victim of an unprovoked invasion could defend themselves. Without those weapons, Ukraine would fall. Now that you and almost half of America are Putin sympathizers, that is against peace. Peace is through strength not weakness for Putin.

Just look at Trump’s comments when asked what is Putin’s concession for this peace deal. He said they are giving up taking over the whole country. Trump is just parroting Putin’s desire. Meanwhile, he wants the victim of an invasion to accept all conditions of Putin. That is the antithesis of every American president. Yes, we should keep sending weapons to Ukraine to help fight against this murderous dictator.

Maybe so. But that is part of the negotiation and you do not take it off the table. If that was the only obstacle for ending the war, you may be right. But what about all the other land on the eastern end of Ukraine? Seems as if Trump wants Russia to have that land as well. That cannot be acceptable to Ukraine.

Did you hear the Prime Minister of Norway yesterday expressing how it was so important for Trump to be engaged and agreeing with a solution? There’s a country that borders Russia that wants a peaceful solution. I doubt he is a Putin sympathizer.

Giving everything to Putin is a solution. But, Not a good solution It’s a horrible solution which echoes Chamberlien’s peace in our lifetime.

So instead of seeing what Putin is about by seeing that Crimea was not enough for Putin and he once again invaded Ukraine. See the mistakes that were done and learning from that. Trump makes even a more disasterius decision by giving Putin all what he wants without consequences. You think capitulating to a murderous dictator is a good thing.

I fundamentally disagree. Keep arming Ukraine and make Putin suffer for every inch of land. Trusting Putin who has broken every agreement he has ever been involved is absolutely stupid.

We don’t know what the final solution is. What are the details of the mineral rights deal and what are the security commitments and concessions that also are supposed to be negotiated?

We don’t know that yet. We know there have been several meetings with Rubio and Witkoff. Nothing has played out completely yet.

You’re pretty cavalier about supporting continued loss of thousands of soldiers and civilians. You never trust Putin. Are you suggesting though that we assassinate him? Even if he concedes the war now what’s to stop him from doing this again?

Look, I know you hate everything about Trump, but at least he is trying to end the conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza, and avoid a war with Iran. Another area where Biden failed miserably.

Yes we know what the proposal from Trump is and it is total capitulation to Russia. This is a horrible deal. Russia gets Crimea, large swaths of land from Ukraine, no NATO membership for Ukraine and Russia gives up on continuing the war. WOW. What a deal for Ukraine! Trump is Putin’s puppet and this deal is outrageous. So the country that invades gets everything g they want and the victim gets nothing. This is not American foreign policy which. Has been consistent with Russia since Truman.

We don’t know the whole deal. We don’t know the details of the mineral right steel. We don’t know about security that Europe will be providing going forward. We don’t know what concessions Putin is giving up also. Do I have to keep repeating this?

Russia had Crimea. And Europe would even admit that it’s not in their best interest for Ukraine to be a member of NATO. Do you forget that Biden did absolutely nothing to prevent Russia from invading Ukraine? Did he engage with Putin or just let it happen?

There’s all sorts of moving parts in that article. It’s a negotiation and if you saw Norway’s‘ Prime Minister yesterday, he reiterated that there needs to be a negotiation and that he was thankful that Trump took the lead on doing this because it was necessary.

Let’s face it, any deal Trump gets done is going to be a bad deal according to you. It’s a good deal if the war ends and there are security measures, put in place to prevent it from happening again. It sounds like Ukraine is supportive of that.
