Tubek is jacked

Crazy to see his body and realize this man was in high school a few short months ago
My thought exactly, not a Freshman body. I hear he's got a 3PT shot too, he almost took one than had second thoughts.

Tubek's athleticism is excellent. He didn't have the stats but he was all over the court playing great defensive. I look forward to see him get more time. Sha is putting a nice looking team together.
Why he started the 2nd half.

This is what I noticed too. His athleticism reminds me of that Garwey Dual kid for Providence (I know he's a 6'5 guard as opposed to a 6'7 forward but both athletic freaks)

Plus 8 in 9 minutes of play. No SHU starter was better than plus 2.
Dan - where do you find the +/- stats?

I would guess that Coleman's +/- stats were high in both the Providence and Marquette games. The bleeding stopped in both games when Coleman was inserted. We have a few upperclassmen who sometimes get a little lackadaisical, but these young guys keep them on their toes. It's great to have a bench that is high energy, athletic and aggressive, a good combination.

GO PIRATES!!!

They are listed on the box score, which is on the SHU website in the schedule/results section.

You can find game box scores on the Athletic Department website. The PDF version includes the plus/minus stats.

This is the Marquette box: https://shupirates.com/documents/2024/1/6/Game_Book_vs._Marquette_1.6.PDF

The PDF version of the Providence game is not available on the SHU website. My calculation -- taken from the play-by-play on the SHU site -- is Coleman was a minus-1 against PC.

He came in at 12:32 of the first half with PC leading 17-10 and left at 5:08 with PC ahead 22-18. That would be plus-3.

In the second half he entered at 9:04 with SHU leading 45-42 and checked out at 6:27 with PC in front 47-46, That would be minus-4 and thus minus-1 overall as he did not play after that.
