WASHINGTON, D.C. — Isaiah Coleman posted his second double-double of the season and his career with 21 points and 10 rebounds but the Seton Hall men's basketball team coughed up 20 turnovers that helped Georgetown defeat the Pirates, 60-46, on Saturday afternoon at Capital One Arena.

Godswill Erheriene had a career day for The Hall (6-18, 1-12 BIG EAST) as he set personal bests with eight points and 28 minutes played. He also matched his season and career high in rebounds with seven boards.

The Pirates were once again down multiple starters as Chaunce Jenkins (knee), Dylan Addae-Wusu (ankle), Scotty Middleton (ankle) and Emmanuel Okorafor (ankle) sat out Saturday's loss with injuries.

How It Happened

Seton Hall jumped out to an 8-2 lead early in the first half after a steal and fast break layup from Garwey Dual. With 12:32 to go and the Pirates lead cut to three, Prince Aligbe converted a fadeaway jumper off glass and drew a foul call. He completed the traditional three-point play on the ensuing free throw.

Two made free throws by Coleman gave Seton Hall a one-point lead, 24-23, with 3:26 to play in the first half but an 11-2 run put the Hoyas in front by eight heading into halftime.

The Hall used a 7-2 run capped off by a made three-point field goal from Coleman trimmed the Pirates' deficit to three, 36-33, early in the second half. A traditional three-point play from Jahseem Felton with 12:31 left to play kept the Pirates within three but the Hoyas made one-of-two free throws on the next possession before getting a stop and scoring again to push their lead back to six. Coleman would go on to score six of the Pirates' next eight points that kept Seton Hall within distance.

Coleman's layup at the 5:22 mark in the second half trimmed Georgetown's lead to three again. The Hoyas responded with a 12-1 run over the final five-plus minutes of game time and they held the Pirates without a field goal to ice the game.
