USA HOOP SUMMIT TEAM

Mohamed Bamba

Westtown SchoolWesttown, PA
6'11" / 215 lbs

Analysis
Bamba is a very long and mobile big man who already demonstrates impressive skill. Though far from complete, he can knock down a facing jump shot and certainly blocks and dunks his way to strong numbers. At the Nike Elite 100 camp, Bamba measured in at 6'11" with a 7'8" wingspan and a 9'5" standing reach. He's an elite prospect in the Class of 2017.

Wendell Carter

Pace AcademyAtlanta, GA
6'10" / 240 lbs

Analysis
For such a young prospect, there's a lot to like about Carter, who checks in at 6-10, 245-pounds. His base is strong and allows him to get good position with ease. His quality hands and touch help him around the rim and he's also able to score with jump hooks and is starting to get more consistent from mid-range. At this stage, Carter reminds us of Jahlil Okafor, as they have similar frames, athleticism and scoring ability on the block. One of his biggest strengths is his ability to gobble up rebounds. He locks down his area and pursues the ball with his two strong mitts.

Trevon Duval

IMG AcademyBradenton, FL
6'3" / 190 lbs

Analysis
A slick, quick backcourt performer who has grown to 6-3, Duval already is tested on both the EYBL and Under Armour circuits and has won summer championships in both leagues. He's an excellent scorer and playmaker with impressive athleticism. Duval is a terrific finisher and arguably the best lay up maker in high school basketball. He does a great job of adjusting his shots at the rim and plays well through contact. Duval has also improved as a playmaker and a passer. We love his confidence and unflappable demeanor along with his tough defense. The next step in his development is becoming more consistent as a shooter. His shot mechanics certainly aren't broke and he's capable of making shots, but becoming more consistent as a shooter is a key. Duval is currently the top point guard in the class of 2017.

Quade Green

St. John Neumann HSPhiladelphia, PA
6'0" / 175 lbs

Analysis
Quade Green, a native of Philadelphia, developed and improved his game a great deal during his junior season. Green went from primarily a scoring guard to a true point guard that led the Nike EYBL in assists during his final spring and summer. Green is average athletically and although not super quick, plays at a great pace and understands how to change speeds and use fakes to get where he wants. Green showed very good vision, passing skills and decision making during his final summer on the summer circuit. Green handles the ball well and does well under pressure. Green is also equipped to score offensively, as he's a good shooter from three and comfortable making pull-up jumpers from mid-range.
