The point is you have no idea what Sha is working on. But you know it’s not good enough. And I don’t know either. But thankfully no one is influenced by the takes published here.

I truly love SHU and Sha as our coach, but as the days go bye him stating how he "learned a lot last season of what not to do" seems to be doing it again and like many here have stated we have 5 players, I am not in this business so I hope somebody can tell him what to do, but go grab some high school seniors with game, the Fab 5 worked remember, not saying that level but some group who is young energetic and looking to run......

Based on the guys we've been trying for, it seems Sha is not going for proven HM players that will cost 7 figures. Looks to me like he's going for an evenly spread out $3-3.25m for his starters (500-700k) and $0.75k-M for his bench.

I think we all believe that to be a mistake. Pay the freight to get 1 guy you can count on and build around. Even if that guy is $1.5m that's the way to go.

If you spend $1.5M, even with a $6M kitty, how do you pay 12 other guys when one guy got 25%?

You can continue to deny it all you want, but there has been uniform agreement by people who would know that it's at $5mil or somewhat more.

I don’t agree with this. A school with a $5 million budget can swim in the deep end immediately. They just can’t grab as many studs as the big boys. We can get 1 or 2 rather than 4 or 5. But 1 or 2 is all you need.

i didn’t really wanna get into the weeds on this and pile on the negativity but if you insist

1. We are more lost than 99% posters even know. Totally unprepared and months late in the portal game

2. I know a player well that we negotiated with early in the portal..if we have 5 million every single person, including Sha, should be fired literally right now…I HOPE there is no way we would make the offer and negotiate the way we did if we had 5 million dollars to spend

Get 2 high priced established HM players… get 5-6 mid level players who bring certain things to the table, and a couple players taking a flyer on, no need to have more than 10 players… you don’t need 10 deep every game.
