I dont like politics mixed with the olympics. Would prefer an ex olympian.
Seems like it is always a political person (at least recently). So this is nothing new. And I still dont like it.
Just another thing that people "care" about that means absolutely nothing.
It's a Presidential Delegation. We send one to every Olympics.
EDIT to include, per the original tweet, there are four former Olympians in the delegation.
I guess we can also be outraged that LeBron will be the flag bearer for the U.S. contingent.

Lebron saved us from what would have been two embarrassing pre-games Ls.
Lebron has won gold medals in the olympics. He is who i think should be feted. I didnt remember we put a political person there all the time.
And fwiw, i am a democrat head to toe. And i would not say me thinking it is stupid equates with being outraged.
