Hard to believe we were one of the 2 teams to beat them this season. An impressive dismantling of St. John's yesterday.

I'm hoping they represent the conference and have a real deep run in the NCAAs. You have to admire them from top to bottom.

It's incredible, isn't it? To think of our valiant effort that day, even with Delgado only playing 15 minutes. That was a great game. We really fought.

Their team plays the way I think Willard wants to play. They get after it defensively, play a bit smaller but together, hit 3's, etc. They have a bit of tenacity to them this year that I'm not sure they had last season.

I hate to say this, but I hope Seton Hall loses to Marquette in round 1 of the BET.

A 1 pt loss in double OT would be fine. Play hard. Give it all they have. Go out proud.

Losing by 40 to Nova the next day could do more harm to this team than losing to Marquette, and Jay Wright will not hold back. (It would be a fun dorm game though to take a drink every time the announcers reference the Gibbs suspension if they do play!)

We would not beat you by 40 your team is better than that. Nova is very hard to beat at the pavilion. Good luck in the BET.

Nova has two first team big east players from Pa. We have no one from Pa. They just offered soph. Lonnie Walker from Reading High. Jay came up three times to see him. Best Reading High player since Donyell Marshal. Seton Hall nowhere in sight. Surprising?

Be proud of a loss to mMarquette? Who are you Kevin Willard?

We should beat Marquette. My guess is a 15 point loss to nova the next day but I thought St. John's was going to play them tough yesterday. So who knows. :)

gary, Jay really likes Lonnie Walker he has been to a few of our games this year.

Kid is a great dunker and three point shooter. Windmill jams no problem. And a very good student. No sign of Seton Hall. UGH

I don't care for Nova normally, but with the RPI of the league being what it is this year, I really hope Nova and the other BE teams that dance this year go deep in the tourney. Other than when (hopefully) The Hall can stun them in the quarters Thurs, I hope Nova can finally make a F4 run for Wright.

the longer Nova doesn't get real competition, and more importantly, real physicality, length & height, the more likely they're gonna lose in the first game of the sweet 16 against some Big 12 or ACC team.

on a side note, you guys think they're a 1 seed or no? I understand why Nova deserves one at this point, but I think Arizona for example is a better team and would beat Nova. They play better defense, they're better & stronger, they've improved on the offensive end, and a kida like McConnell can be counted on to hit the big shot just like an Arch or Hilliard is for Nova.

You might be right but I really hope not.

We we need Villanova to make a deep run this year, both for perception of the Big East's strength and frankly the reality.

By reality, I mean that if we are getting to the point that the conference doesn't provide enough of a test for a Final Four ca liber team, then we are headed for mid major status.

You realize Wright made the Final 4 in 2009?

Thank you all for the kind words about Nova this year. We are excited.

Seton Hall has always been my 2nd favorite BE team. I think you had a tough end of the year, but you have talent to turn things around. A few years ago we had a losing record. Jay changed his recruiting philosophy and now 3 years later we are 29-2. I think your 3 freshmen will have good years next year as soph, and Gibbs is primed for a great senior year.

I think it would be great for the league if we can get 3 teams to the sweet 16. I think Georgetown, Butler and Providence all have that capability. No one on ESPN talks about the Big East, and making a run in the NCAA tournament would go a long way to putting this great league back on the map.

Good luck on Wednesday, if you beat Creighton we owe you one.
