Agreed. But maybe let’s do 1 month, in person.

I agree, but I understand the issue is finding volunteers in some counties to man polling places for a week. To me that’s a problem that can be solved. No reason why we need mail in except for absentee ballots. Standardized voting booth, process and universal ID.

It's not hard to vote. Polls are open 6 AM to 8 PM, sometimes later in certain states. If you can't find a way to be there during those extremely accommodating hours, fill out an absentee ballot.

Pay them. We print money. Certainly can foot the bill fir presidential elections.

6am to 8pm was a typical day when I was working in NYC. And add children. Or other factors. But glad you have no problems so it must be cake for everyone.

I would like to see one week voting, but you only get one day based on last name. If everyone can go all week it will be like the DMV at the end of the month and you’ll have the same issues of most jamming it into the last possible second. A-E Monday, F-J Tuesday, that way it’s is forced to be spread out. There is no excuse for missing your day because if there is both sides will just create any argument to divide the country and get their base riled up that they're being cheated.
