The environment at the three Walsh Gym games was beyond electric and unlike anything I have ever experienced at a Seton Hall home game. That is how college basketball is meant to be viewed (not in 19K seat pro hockey arenas). I'm struggling to put into words just how intense/fun/loud/etc. that environment was. I couldn't help but think "this will be a lot of fun next time it happens." Which got me thinking - we may have witnessed the last high-level games to be played on campus. I really don't see that opportunity happening again, which is really unfortunate.
I'm sure you have heard by now that Fox launched a new post season tournament to rival the NIT. The BigEast is contractually obligated to send two teams to the new "College Basketball Crown" held in Las Vegas. There are no home games associated with this tournament.
In summary - we experienced something very special and very unique. I'm just happy I got to be a part of it.
