the silver lining is a stress free year. We know before Thanksgiving that we don’t need to be obsessed about KenPom or Palm’s biases or NETs or quads or conference record or any other metric — or Khadary or Rutgers or anyone else — because this year they have already been proven to be utterly irrelevant to this DOA team.

Focus on the 25 draft. Right? If only.

The performance has been disappointing thus far, but still too early to give up totally. Let's see where we stand one month from now. The team can't lose another game before Rutgers then take a swing at them. They're really good and will be ranked, I don't think we can stay with them but who knows.

11/24 FAU (neutral)
11/30 Monmouth
12/4 NJIT
12/8 Oklahoma State
12/14 at Rutgers
---------------
12/17 at Villanova
12/22 Georgetown

So, without resolving the PG issue in some
way, I am not sure what can be accomplished? You have Wusu, Dual, Felton and maybe Harmon. We have not had a good deal of stability at the Point through six games. Remember, no game has yet to be played in a hostile environment. What's that going to look like? I would still start Wusu unless Harmon gets back. I'd sub in Felton very early in the game until he proves he's overmatched or he's the guy. Looking at those next many game projections, winning scoring in the 50's or low 60's is not sustainable. I can see 3 or 4 wins there, but again what is the Goal for the Season????

This time last year---- actually, maybe even a few weeks later--- I questioned how we would win 4 BE games. Who could we beat? And look how that turned out.

Good news is we can't get any worse.

FAU = L
Mon =?
NJIT =W
Rut = blow out L
Nova =L
Gt = probable L
not looking too good--prove me wrong
Yea this is a huge stretch, as bad as it has been. FAU isn't good -- fully expect a W tomorrow with a rested group. Monday is a win. NJIT is a win. Rutgers will be a tough game no doubt. And honestly we start the Big East schedule about as well as you can ask right now.

Villanova doesn't look good at all, despite Dixon. Even on the road that seems like a winnable game. It is hard to judge individual matchups this time of year, but Virginia (picked preseason 5th in the ACC) beat Nova by double digits, and Virginia looked like it didn't belong on the same court as St. John's last night.

And Georgetown despite having some real talent has seemingly struggled with various low/mid majors and got absolutely destroyed by Notre Dame, and I'm not sure how good Notre Dame is this year.
