Has anyone seen his highlights on Youtube? I have never seen anything like any of his highlight moves.

He will def be one of the all time greats. Could have a Quad-Double including blocks.

He’s being touted as the greatest prospect in history of professional sports. Not just NBA, all pro sports. I hope for his sake he can live up to the hype because there will be an unbelievable amount of pressure on him.

Also, feel bad for sandro. He was kind of finding a home in San Antonio and they win the lottery against the odds and draft potentially the greatest player in nba history at his position.

Does anyone feel that his thin frame will be an impediment in the NBA? He needs to bulk up a bit.

Bodies like that thin and incredibly long usually eventually breakdown. Maybe the rare exception was Jabbar.

Let's hope this young man is another exception.

Reggie Miller was only 6’7” but he was durable. The Knicks are aware of his durability.

Holmgren is another body like this kid. Also a similar type of game without quite as much raw talent.

Sandro could see less minutes, but it could be a good thing too. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets lots of assists to Wemby. He played pretty well in Collins’ absence at end of season.

Wemby has a great approach to this though - he’s definitely aware. Does all sorts of barefoot ankle/foot training + mobility work, videos of it look pretty unorthodox which is cool.

Anyone else find it odd at how many of the hoop greats are not US born. I think the all NBA team had three foreign born guys and if you say the Gman and Jokic ae the best players alive you wont get much agrument.

Dream team kickstarted a generation of INTL guys wanting to take them down

Don’t forget Luka. That’s three of the top 5-6 players in the NBA are European.

I would say 4 of the five best players in the nba this season are international.
1. Jokic
2. Gianis
3. Luka
4. Tatum
5. Embid

Maybe AAU ball from in utero is not a great way to teach kids how to play.

And while we are at it, can baseball coaches figure out how to get pitchers to pitch 9 innings.

Rantings of an old guy.

Who is right.

In an interview with Adam Silver during the NBA Finals, he stated that a US vs World NBA All-Star Game is probably going to happen in the next couple years. It sounded like this concept had been discussed previously and dismissed, but now it's more likely to happen with the influx of foreign talent.

Europe was ahead of the U.S. in developing bigs to be complete players instead of just post players.

Also for many years the U.S. game was centered around 1 v 1 isolations and power/athleticism while the international game was more focused on team basketball and developing players who were skilled in all aspects.
