It looked the same way this time last year, too. I'll buy it when I see it this year.
Something is definitely different with this team. This is not a mirage. We have turned the corner.
It did not look the same way this time last year..not at all the record may be close but this looked like rhonda rousey last fight in the second half. Team kicked them in the head punched em in the nose and just crushed them on the bords. No sir..this looked nothing like the team from next year..
To me, the passing and the sheer ability of the bigs to catch interior passes is a huge difference.
The corner being turned is simple, a young and very talented team is slowly starting to gain experience and play to their abilities.
You win at this level on defense and rebounding The play of Ish both on the boards and on D has solidified this team.
What most of us thought would be a weakness has now become a strength.
Ish has been tremendous. And in the next two and a half year eventually his offense will become a factor beyond just put backs.
Ish gets some well deserved credit, but I don't think we can overlook at the potential star player we have with Desi. He actually is reminding me of a more athletic version of ADrian Griffin. Desi is doing a little of everything; his first half performance last night set the tone for the team especially with his tenacity on the boards. He has potential to be a special player.
