Double OT, Buddy Love with 38 pts. KU had the lead early. OU with a run to close the half then up by 8 in the 2nd half until KU came back. The place and Dickie V are going nuts.

Unreal game. Dunn is gonna need to step his game up if he wants POY. Hield was unreal.

Incredible game! Crazy style of play for OU, they pretty much run non stop and rarely set up an offense off their opponents miss but didn't really go to their bench much (5 bench points out of 106?Yikes). Fatigue definitely set in during OT. Hield was a beast!

Best game of the season thus far, obviously. Love both teams. Self is a very underrated coach at the elite level. So glad I get to say I watched Hield in person when we blew it against Oklahoma a few years ago. Circle Saturday February 13th on your calendar for the return game in Oklahoma...they're gonna be out for blood I'm sure.

I get that they have seniority, but a real buzzkill from ESPN to have those two mummies doing the game. ESPN literally has 10 or so other play by play & color guys that would have done a better job. Can't wait till Vitale is sent out to pasture. Biggest game of the year and that moron ruins it with his idiocy...although it was def. reigned in a bit.

I thought Musburger and Vitale made the game more fun to watch. Much better than getting lectured by Bilas. If anyone else was to be on that game, it would have been Fraschilla, who I also like. But I don't have a problem giving what turned out to be an all-time classic game to two broadcasting legends.

Musburger gets alot of hate but he is a legend and always a fun listen in my opinion, especially if you like to make the games more interesting with a wager. Didn't see the game last night, but I normally can't watch anything Dukie V is a part of. if he toned it down, good for him (and the audience).

not a huge blowhard bilas fan either, but you have to give him credit for this one :)

Also, Vitale and Musburger mentioned that an ESPN draft guy (can't remember who it was) had Hield as a late first round pick. Please. Tell me 25 better players than him right now. No way. Would bet the farm that he is a lottery pick. Great, great player.

He is a hell of a player and clutch shooter...It was a terrific game.

they'll say he's not tall & athletic enough. I'll say that the NBA should be concerned less with that and more with guys with skillsets like his.

I didn't mean Bilas when I said other guys should have done the game imo. But Fraschilla was def. one of the guys I was thinking of....strong knowledge of the Big 12 and Oklahoma especially, as his son plays or just finished playing for them (walk-on).

Interesting to note that Woodard, Spangler, Cousins and Hield were on that "not so good" Oklahoma team that beat us 86-85 Nov 2013. Hopefully our young guys stay together.

After two games in the BE, I wonder of anyone starts wondering if Ellenson is a top ten choice? And I noticed Wade Baldwin of St Joes Metuchen is being talked up as a first rounder. He is shooting .500 but his other stats are right around what Isaiah has. NBA GMs must wish they were still drafting players based on performance, and not the player they think someone will be in four years.
