What I love about this team...

their fight, this team never gives up. Just when you think they are knocked down they get right back up. Bounce back wins after tough losses, winning streaks, 5 road victories, off shooting nights the defense steps up, Whitehead not playing well he gets other involved and desi/carrington steps up. Down big on the road at Nova and X, instead of getting blow out they keep fighting and rally back. This team is tough as nails and that makes me proud as an alum. I don't care who their opponent is this team has the fight and the defense to play with anybody. A huge step forward this year and one to certainly be proud of. So pumped up for the Xavier game, will be sitting court side, will certainly be an afternoon to celebrate everything Derrick Gordon has brought to this team and hopefully a nice Pirate upset, Go Pirates!

I have really enjoyed this team come of age and should toughness. They have responded all season long after poor performances. A big deal after the soft teams we've had lately.

Blowing the 19-point lead to a one win team was really inexcusable and I'm sure Willard will hit them on that, but they did come back after being down-3 with under a minute to play.

I agree with all of this. I love the togetherness of this team. They seem to genuinely like each other, they play hard for each other. All positive things. But this is not enough! We are on the cusp of being able to do something memorable this season. This team has the ability. They can beat any of the teams in this conference on a neutral floor, I genuinely believe that. You just never know what the roster will look like next season. The time is now. We have 4 winnable games remaining. We have the talent to make a big run at MSG. It's time for this team and this coach to FINISH and leave the bubble in the rearview mirror.
