What happened on Thursday? I think it is the worst game we played all year, and, obviously Whitehead's worst game. Were we tired from the previous week or was it the impact of the travel, time zone and altitude (or all of the above)? Am I not giving Gonzaga enough credit?
I really think we were tired and it was all of the above (BET, Altitude, late start, etc). Outside of Gordon and Sanogo, I thought most guys seemed off. Nonetheless, I really think that if Whitehead hits a couple of his threes, the outcome could have been different. It was hard to believe that as bad as we played, we were only down 6 with the ball with around 6 to go. I know the Zags turned the ball over a lot keeping us in the game, but to me, we just appeared very lethargic. We really didn't look to push the ball. It was just very disappointing considered how well we had played down the stretch. Anyway, wondering what you guys thought.
