What is gametime and TV for today?

Do not know if I am hearing it right, but Dino Gaudio seems to be tripping over a ton of words in these broadcasts from Charleston, almost like he downed some martinis prior to game time. Just seems kind of off center a lot...

He's not a good broadcaster, but he has been around basketball for a long time and has a lot of friends. With so many tournaments and games going on this week on the ESPN networks, they need somebody to cover these games. Some coaches are good going off the cuff as analysts and some can't do anything with teleprompter. Gaudio goes back to his game notes and does so in a not so smooth manner. The game notes are vital to the broadcast and good broadcasters make so you can't tell when they're reading from the notes or talking about the game in front of them. When he tries to use his game notes to formulate an original thought on the fly, he gets tripped up. That's what I've noticed this weekend so far.
