The focus now is social distancing:
- Close malls & movie theatres
- Mass transit
- restaurants, bars & fast food
- Supermarkets
Uncharted territory

Sports betting industry is going to take a huge hit. What is there to bet on?

Feels as though this is the tipping point and everything is aligning for mass closures next week.

With the travel ban going in place today, schools closing right and left or moving to virtual approaches, next week seems to be the closure for everything else left where gatherings of 50 or more can happen through April or so i would say. It's inevitable and will help preserve the HC system's ability to treat patients with all issues including CV.

It's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback, but why didn't they shut down the NYSE/NASDQ for a week or two like we did after 9/11. I think a lot of the angst (besides March Madness) is being driven by the massive drop and wild swings in the market.

I said the same thing. Shut it down for a few weeks, let it cool off, let reason take over.

There is a silver lining here. If this goes on long enough both the Democratic and Republican national convention’s will be canceled.
