OK. Now we've reloaded. So what do we expect going forward?
I for one am very optimistic as usual. I see Aiken and Molson as a terrific backcourt combination. They have great experience and competitiveness. Add in Shavar and we have a really tough group of guards that could erase the loss of Myles/Q.
Our bigs....Mamu is going to be awesome. Possibly NBA and highly talented. One of the top forwards nationally. Add Samuel and we're very tough at 4.
Ike, well I have to think his skill set is growing into his huge frame. He reminds me of Luther Wright who got it going late in his career.
I'm thinking Ngandu and Mamu will back him depending on circumstances and what opponent bigs we're facing. But we will be OK if Ike catches whatever Romaro Gill caught in the second part of the season. Let's hope.
Forwards. Rhoden is going to break out! This kid is terrific. He and Cale are like Batman and Robin. Add Stevens to augment some firepower with our guards and we may just be a better shooting team then last season.
So my Grand prediction is we'll be in the top 5 BE next season and definitely get to the dance.
