If her tenant had stopped paying and she tried to evict them, I’d see that as a major issue obviously but it’s not like every tenant in the US stopped paying rent last year except for hers.

I don’t see the issue with Tlaib. Her tenants paid while she called for a moratorium on evictions. This has been the policy since April of 2020.

However, Pressley who criticized landlord collecting rent during the pandemic is a hypocrite since she actually collected rent. Although that may have been during the pre-pandemic months of 2020 since it was only $15.000. Can’t really tell.

On some good news, landlords are beginning to get missed rental payments from the State of NJ.
