Seems like this is also the down-side/danger of The Admin keeping Willard. Let's assume next years team does not make the NCAAs and he is gone. The next coach is really screwed as there are no scholarships (unless/until folks transfer).
KW bringing in transfers who have to sit a year makes zero sense to me right now.

Probably a realization that our 2016 recruiting was in the tank anyway so any warm body would do . I do see a trend in our recruiting developing as we concentrate on transfers who don't score over 5 PPG and yes that is sarcasm.
There is an assumption that KW will be let go that probably should not be assumed at all. He has to act as if he will be at SHU beyond next year, regardless.
What about the possibility that one or two Pirates declare for the NBA draft? No one on the team is ready yet, but they might decide to go rather than spend another year "developing" under Willard. That really wouldn't help 2016 recruiting much, as most of the better players will already have chosen their schools by the time the Seton Hall players declare.
I have come to this conclusion, seriously. For Willard getting two years of exhorbitant pay when he should have none is all that he us working on.
