that may be, but the over-the-top calling out of posters, creepy praise & love for KW and overall finger-wagging & lecturing at the realists on here rubbed alot of us the wrong way. If you're gonna talk tough like that for weeks on end, it's kinda weak to disappear after everything goes in the toilet.

Paul is in bad health and had been to very few games this year (I believe 2). It's bad enough this board has turned to poison regarding our program. Now we are attacking loyal posters who have been traveling to games from an hour away with an illness the last 10 years that would immobilize many people here.
Paul got so sick at the Beef Steak Dinner that he was invited to a private room at Walsh to recuperate and then driven home by our AD with Pat's wife driving Paul's car. The round trip was over 2 hours. How many other AD's would do that for a fan?
Point is this was one fan who deserved what was done for him.
This is why you will never get to be President of the Keepin It Real Club. President SPK is all but beggin for a challenge from you but you will never get the swing vote with stuff like this. Disappointing.

If anyone on this board had the privilege of knowing Paul they would admire his total dedication to the Hall. For years he has gone beyond any physical limitation to attend all of the games. It is true that he sees the coach and team at times differently than others, but it would be a mistake to think that he is not open to criticism and diverse thought. I am proud to call him my friend ,and one of the real bonuses for me through the years has been the pleasure of his company.
I'm probably the total opposite of Frank as far as posting goes. The one thing we have in common though is that we are both huge fans of the program. I had the pleasure of meeting him during halftime of the PU game and that's exactly what it was, a pleasure. He is a true fan with a positive attitude. Maybe we can all learn a little from him.
everyone getting way to sensitive on here. OP has a valid point this guy makes all these grand claims then just disappears. he wasnt questioning his character.
He was criticizing / joking about the posts, not the man, of whose health condition he clearly had no knowledge. Years ago, I got very bent out of shape with a Rutgers poster who made some dumb comment about my mother not knowing that she had just died from cancer. I overreacted, behaving as if his lame jab were more than that because he knew something he didn't - I regret it. I am, however, thankful because it taught me something about how our emotions can cloud our judgment and interactions with others.

He disappeared because he is in bad health right now and posting is very difficult for him.
No need for anyone to start a thread such as this one calling out a poster who through major illness always supports our program.
Pat Lyons and Kevin Willard have been especially kind to Paul through his tribulations. So that kindness certainly is a strong and understandable reason why Paul supports our coach and AD. Given those same circumstances most here would react in a similar fashion.
This is one of the most pathetic threads I have ever seen on Pirate Crew. . For what purpose ? Where does this get you? Don't we have enough bad situations without going after a great Seton Hall supporter? Paul is such a nice guy. I hope he gets better fast.
Amen. Unprovoked calling-out of any regular poster is always bush, but have we really gotten to the point this year where we're hammering 49ers10? I mean, I don't always agree with what he writes, but even independent of him being a genuinely nice guy (and a fan whose loyalty stacks up against anyone's), he makes no attempts to cause trouble here. I think he's earned that same courtesy from everyone else.
that's not true. That was why I made the thread. He went after people for weeks around New Years and after. I dont know who he is irl or know any of these ailments people are talking about, and now that I do, it's over. But you guys can keep riding in on your white horses if you want to.

Completely accurate and as Bobbie said knowing the health reasons the topic is dead but the original point behind the post would have been fair
Perhaps you should consider exhibiting some decency and/or class and you wouldn't feel the need to "start" anything with anyone, which in turn would deem requests to delete threads like this entirely unnecessary. Is it so hard to hold yourself to some standards? Is "winning the internets" that important that you have to trash and belittle other human beings?
Why are people so happy about rolling around in the slop, throwing verbal exrement at others all day long? Reality checks are in sore need for many people on this board. I didn't realize there were door prizes awarded to those who correctly assess whether or not a coach should be fired.
