Which one wins a game

St. Johns. They've been able to stay within arms length of some teams for at least a half. Maybe they get lucky and can extend that to an entire game and steal a win. Rutgers is usually getting blown out from the opening tip.

Rutgers has been playing a little better since Laurent and the other kid came back. They actually hung tough with Michigan State for a half last night at Breslin before the wheels fell off. Minnesota looks pretty bad, too, so maybe on the last game of the season, Rutgers can summon the energy to win against a Gophers team that will have checked out by then.

I think St. John's is the better of the two teams, but really, there just aren't any off nights in the Big East, even against DePaul.

St John's is probably ever so slightly (maybe) better than RU, but with Illinois, PSU, and Minnesota on the docket, the Knights might have a better shot.

I think MSU came out the second half on a 20-0 run. RU was down almost by 50 points at one point in the second half. They did lose a couple of their big guys to injuries so they are small and not deep. However, there is a large talent gap between RU and the rest of the League. I wonder how RU would fare in the Big East>

I can't see either winning a league game. They are both historically awful.

Just as poorly. It's no easier, just has fewer teams.

I think they were down seven at the half. I made a couple manhattans for me and the missus right before the second half started, and by the time they were halfway gone, the Knights were down 38. It's rare to see a team implode that badly that quickly, but this team has done it a a few times. Probably the worst major conference team I've ever seen. It's not even fun to watch them lose because there's no drama; you know without any doubt that they will not win.

SJU, Rutgers, Mizzou, Minny BC & Wash State should be alllowed to cancel the rest of their games and start to exclusively play each other until the end of the season. The weakest teams in the big conferences this year are some of the worst we've ever seen.
