Just too much talent but if the Hall plays their A game it should be close

Villanova 71 SHU 67

Got to go with Villanova by 6-8 but Seton Hall has done very well at The Rock against them so while it would shock the nation, it wouldn't shock the Pirate Ship.

1. We win the rebounding war
2. We play hard D and keep their shooting under 40%
3. We make our shots at over 40%

SHU 70, VU 64

Keep pressure on guards like last week and a little better containing of Ochefu for his 25 minutes should
give SHU the edge.

I do not believe Nova has too much talent. They are human with a bit of an ego which might just hurt them someday. We were overwhelmed 1st meeting at their place. Have a bit of Karma now with the win over Providence and provided we learn and keep boxing out like we did last game, we should keep it very close.

I keep thinking "WHY NOT SETON HALL" guessing HALL 78-76.

Not sure they have too much talent, just slightly better and better coached, apologies to what's his name. Plus they have the "manster" in the middle. A game changer.

Personally guaranteeing a loud student section tomorrow.

The second veer hits a three, the crowd will not allow nova to recover.

I see something similar to the Pitt game in 2004, the most exciting Seton Hall game I ever attended. They were ranked #4 at the time as well.

Seton Hall 84, Villanova 81 (2 OT).

You guys need to get in Josh Hart's head like last year at The Rock. That and Villanova's poor free throw shooting were the keys to last season's home win.

Once Hart pulled his crap with Delgado, the crowd completely took him out of his game.

What I didn't like when they played 2 wks ago at their dungeon, was Ochefu throwing his wt around at will, but we being called for every ticky-tack hack the refs could see.

We can win this game. But we need to cut down turnovers, make free-throws, somehow stop Ochefu and Hart. Tall order.

I like the fact that Delgado doesn't have a 103 degree fever as in the first meeting.

Villanova will pack the defense in the paint. We'll have to shoot more threes than we want to. Not a good thing for us. Nova by 10.

That's what they did last time. But I think we could possibly shoot mid-range jumpers over that. Stop and pop.

KC started to turn it around late at Nova with a three and pull up jumper at the elbow. He has not looked back.
Hall by 6.

Villanova's 3-point shooting percentage has been poor (or at least below their average) I think in each of the last three or four meetings with them (I read something this morning, and don't recall the exact figure), and no doubt that has given us a chance to beat them when we have. Even two weeks ago we had a chance, given their offensive struggles, but they clamped down on us effectively, too. If the right Seton Hall shows up, and I think they will, we will be right there at the end, close enough to give them the benefit of the doubt:

SHU 78
VU 74

Nova - 72
SHU - 59

Really want to pick our guys in this one, but my head tells me the roller coaster will continue. Nova is just too good.

Pirates always win when I pick against them. Nova 84 - hall 68. Go pirates. Hope I am wrong again.

I expect our players to play hard again ( as they did against Providence last week) for the entire game tonight. Furthermore, I have this feeling that tonight’s game will be very close towards the end; with two of the better defensive teams in the conference battling the entire game. Ochefu will get his points and rebounds; however, this time Ochefu’s points and rebounds not will come at key times in the contest and Ochefu will not hurt us as he did at Villanova earlier this season.

As stated above, the game willbe close the end; go into OT—and you know anything can happen in OT!

Seton Hall 67 Villanova 66 OT!

Carrington the star of the game.
