Nail biter.

SHU needs this for their NCAA resume. Georgetown? Desperation time.

SHU 71

Play tough D and feed Delgado.
I think we're a tournament team that has proven they can win games on the road. Seton Hall by 12.

They lost their center. This will help. Hall by 5 in a cliff dweller.

I'm picking Delgado as player of the game. He's good tonight we win, if not we lose. We have to win the battle inside.

I would go with the obvious. Need the good PG Whitehead and not the bad 2G one to show up.

Would also be nice to see Carrington get back to the way he was playing earlier in the season on offense.

It's been a while since both guards have had good offensive games at the same time.

This is a game that you have to win in order to be a serious contender to make the tournament and we'll see who wants it more SH or GT.

+1. I'll go with SHU since Hayes is out and I like Gordon disrupting DSR again. This is a go-on-the-road and play great defense game...they can do it. SHU 68 GT 62

I think we are the better team, we play pretty well on the road and the week off helps. SHU by 7.

Important game for us. Not necessarily a must win, but if we lose we will likely need to sweep Xavier and PC at home which is a very tough task.

After the loss to Butler, this game has become extremely important if pirates want to dance. Tough game. I think we pull it out but would not be surprised either way. Will go with Hall 74-70.

SHU defense will dictate if we win or lose. They defend like they did last game vs Hoyas or at creighton we win. Hands down. We defend like we did last butler game we lose. We also need to get desi into the offensive flow and keep him there. He is an offensive weapon that we don't always use correctly.

SHU 68

Hall hangs close but poor free throw shooting ends up being the difference.

I don't see this as a must win for SHU, but it is for Gtown. A win here is significant
to SHU making the NCAAS. Does a 9pm start finally help us? Maybe their crowd and
atmosphere will be flat?

I don't want to predict with my heart over my head on this one. Conventional wisdom says
that this game will be played in the low 60's and that Gtown will find a way to frustrate the
young Pirate team on offense. I can Seton Hall playing another good road game here also.

My heart says SHU 70--62 My head says GTown 65-60

I have us losing this game close one tonight. I think Georgetown brings us down in an ugly low scoring game. I do see us beating St. John's, Xavier and Butler though and i think if that all happens we will be dancing.

I don't have a great feeling about this one. I'm always leery of Seton Hall against teams like this. Then again, I think I said something similar before we played them last time (or at least thought it), and it didn't matter.

I think we'll struggle to get in a good offensive flow against them, like last time, and we don't shoot well enough to think that's a reliable alternative. Of course, if Derrick can bottle up DSR again, that could decide things (again).

The last game was tough, and this one is at their place, so...

Georgetown 69
Seton Hall 62
