I don't see this game as make or break for us. Yes, 3-6 in the Big East would be quite the hole, but I think we've seen (contrary to my pre-season expectation) that fast paced basketball isn't our strong suit. Even if upcoming games are against better teams, I think the matchups look better for us. I'll be glad to have both Marquette and St. John's in the rearview mirror after tonight. We'll get it together when we're back playing at a pace we're comfortable with (and once January ends).

No idea what to expect here. Not sure Marquette can apply the same type of pressure SJU did. We have to remember SJU had a great dress rehearsal only 2 days prior and knew exactly how to approach. Marquette is a great 3 ball team. So, we have to hope Kevin has the team elevating their perimeter defense. Hall keeps Marquette under 10 threes hopefully.

We have regressed quite a bit from our OOC and our first few games in conference, where even undermanned, we were competitive every game. Maybe it all comes down to the version of Rhoden who shows up....

Interesting. Historically this is an exploitable situational edge in gambling. Ranked teams on the road as dogs. Public usually on the ranked team and the shapes win big when the i ranked home favorite wins. It also works for college football as well. Hopefully the books are right
