This headline is making Xavier sound nearly unbeatable. We Might have a Chance. This is the big east, we are supposed to be a team competing for an NCAA berth. We have a chance. A good chance. I agree it has everything to do with:

1. The quality of the game plan to shut down their top players
2. The motivation and drive to get at the ball every play
3. Our ability to channel the inner PJ: Defend, Rebound, and hit Foul shots
4. Luck in shots going down

I love Xavier's overall team toughness. Too bad they lost to GTown because they'll
probably bring renewed focus. I think they can do well in the NCAA Tournament in March.

Once again we want to see SHU play a good road game. This is the first season in a long time
where I feel we can compete with any team in the BigEast on the road.

Great opportunity once again for the Pirates today. I think guys like Ish,Nzei and Singh have to contribute points moving forward. A few points could have made a difference vs Nova.
