In the past Georgetown games were fraught with consequences because so many of my
immediate family members are Georgetown graduates.However, I have a lot of confidence
in this team ,and believe the Hall will win on Wednesday.The keys to beating them are :
stifle Smith Rivera and exert toughness on the boards. I would hope we press them because they have the same difficulty in the offensive half court that the Hall has. Also they are as bad at the line as the Hall On most nights they are not great from the three, but they attack the offensive boards, and are very physical.If the Hall plays with their defensive intensity then it augurs well. Also Angel and Desi must be part of the offensive plan because they will clog the middle against the guards.
Thompson is getting real heat from the fan base, and this game is critical for them.Win this one, and the Hall is on their way.For many reasons I do not believe we are going to see this team swoon when the pressure is on.
