It's a positive sign for this program that our head coach has recognized and accepted that one of his weaknesses was his control of the locker room and has taken steps to correct that with a new approach and that includes exercising his authority to impose discipline where appropriate.
What Kevin and every other head coach has to recognize is that when discipline is applied it must be timely fair , balanced and is appropriate to the player's transgression. Being too much of a harass doesn't work nor does a slight slap on the hand . Getting it right is important for the player, the team and for the coach otherwise a team can implode.
