Most on this site seem to believe that Willard will receive some major offers if we make the NCAA Tournament. Are schools that hard up for a coaching candidate that they would consider Willard with the minimal amount of success that he has had throughout his head coaching career. The best case scenario that we can hope for is a successful season that results in a tournament run. This would ultimately solve two problems : 1. It allows Willard to be pulled away from our program, 2. It alleviates the problematic overly inflated buyout that we would have to pay if Willard is fired. My very concerning question is, could there be another clueless program out there that would pay Willard a salary larger than his present salary allowing for a seamless split?
