Willard on his tenure: "The thing I'm most frustrated of, the only year we went into Big East play without anyone hurt was my 2nd year."

He's just screwing with y'all now! I mean this is just trolling of epic proportion.

Message to Willard: Marquette lost Carlino for awhile to injury and the team is just now fully healthy. They play with six or seven players. St. John's has had its share of injuries. Welcome to college basketball - kids get hurt that's why you recruit backups and develop them.

Every year, Willard has had locker room issues, personality/clashes with players (Oliver, Manga, Cosby), suspensions, etc (Gibbs). Every year, the teams get worse instead of better.

Yes, his teams had some rough injuries - Auda, Teague, Hazell, Whitehead - but he's not alone. That's why you recruit backups and inspire players so they can compete through adversity.

Very few teams at this point in the season have a full roster with only minor injuries, but we do so I have no idea what he is talking about. Unless the entire team had arm injuries which made them incapable of passing the ball, then please willard don't blair injuries and embarrass yourself further.

I think you are all being too harsh on Willard...

It is obvious that he is struggling with the English language. He even had to ask if fragility is a word.

He is also mixing up his pronouns.

I think it is obvious he meant:

The most frustrating part "we've" faced (vice I have faced) is the injuries and "I" (vice we) must get better.

If he was able to recruit well on a regular basis then he'd have enough depth on his bench to overcome injuries.

Supposedly IW has been hurt all year. Not just his foot and he has battled through multiple injuries. I think that is what he is referring to. It's partially true but you have to recruit better and have to coach up the next in line to take over when that happens. Happens to every team and either you get tough and deal with it or make excuses.

Willard is our Rich Kotite. When his quarterback was not hurt he was a great coach. His teams play hard, there are no problems in the locker room only problems with you guys (the media). I am proud of this team etc.

Willard won't resign either maybe he will " step aside" though. Hobbs and Lyon are our own bumbling Leon Hess!
