I’d say a US Senator has the right to address an issue like this. And I don’t agree with the Senator’s view but one of the 100 have the right to question.

Bingo. Division has been around forever. The combo of mainstream media (which used to be journalists with some measure of objectivity) and social media has caused it to spin out of control or, quite often, seem worse than it really is. Not too long ago we were riding a terrific economy with the lowest unemployment numbers across all groups including minorities we’ve seen in some time. COVID changed everything and now the media and politicians (side) they aim to appease will stop at nothing to get the result they want in Nov.

Sports media might be even more radical left than the general media at large. I once read a poll that something like 85% of self-described "journalists" identify as democrats. Their bias shows and increases with every day that goes by.

Well, clearly we'll never agree on this but I think it's obvious that Trump loves to divide and foster hatred of those who are not part of his base. For a President to actively comport himself in that manner is imho utterly despicable.

It's weird for someone who only divides he sure has a funny way of discriminating. The guy had the economy rolling for whites, blacks, Asians, Hispanics, you name it. Black lives matter is openly calling to not support white owned business. Whose doing the dividing?

He is not the original cause of it, but he is trading on it for his own benefit. There's been a clear divide in the country since the time of Newt Gingrich. But what Trump has done is lower himself into the sewer and sling the nasty stuff around with vigor. He does it for his own gratification to feed his narcissism. A President who acts that is worthy of zero respect.
