First off I want to apologize to my loyal readers (especially Steelers and Bluebeard) for holding off and posting after the whole tournament.

1. It's always great to bring home a trophy, great job by the players and staff. All 3 games were played at different paces and we adapted to the different playing styles very well.

2. McKnight impressed. Him and Powell will be a very good scoring backcourt. Is he the best point guard, no, but if he scores like he has been it will cover up the few negatives. I actually thought we should have went to him more against Miami as he had a huge height advantage.

3. Going into the season my biggest question was will we be able to get a 2nd and 3rd option to Powell. The thought in almost everyone's head was it would be Cale and TT. Even though Cale and TT have not stepped up, McKnight, Nzei, and Sandro have to fill the void.

4. Rhoden had a great defensive game against Hawaii and a very good all around game against Miami. His shot is way off, but if he can continue to provide the hustle that keep plays alive he will continue to eat into Cale's playing time.

5. I don't think I have ever seen a player like TT. That Euro Step dunk was amazing, but then he has moments where you just scratch you head. He has shown improvement from game to game and seems to be genuinely happy to be here so hopefully he keeps improving. His shot is very ugly though.

6. Defensively we are struggling. KW likes to play a very heavy switching defense, when you have a player like Ish you can get away with this cause he can guard all 5 positions. Nelson also is continuously getting beat on the perimeter which ends up putting our big men is a tough spot.

Overall it was a very good 3 games and great to see that adjustments are being made.
